Welcome to the future of Irish Drifting. Welcome to the 2017 MicksGarage Irish Amateur Drift Championship.

Focusing on driver development and the equalisation of machinery, this 4 round championship gives new drivers a platform to improve their talent.

The top 10 finishers in the championship will gain IDC Pro-Am licenses and earn their place in the 2017 Link Engine Management Irish Drift Championship. With rules and regulations designed to level the playing-field, the IADC has become the ultimate proving-ground for future Irish drift superstars.

Here is the full calendar for the 2017 season:

Round 1 – Proving Ground – Mondello Park – December 11th

Our aptly-titled season opener will utilise the infamous Mondello Park national circuit and give our 70-strong grid of up-and-coming drivers their first taste of competitive drifting. Watch the next rising IDC stars emerge in front of the grandstand on December 11th.

Round 2 – Backlash – Mondello Park – January 15th

The championship and IDC Pro-Am license chase hots up as we alternate the Mondello Park layout and increase the difficulty for IADC Backlash.

Round 3 – Carpark Carnage – Mondello Park – February 12th

The Mondello Park paddock plays host to a brand-new custom circuit designed specifically to prepare our grid for the crazy layouts IDC will throw at them in the future. Varying grip levels and surface conditions will prove a unique challenge on February 12th

Round 4 – Judgement Day – Mondello Park – March 12th

The championship race comes to a dramatic conclusion on March 12th as every driver will risk it all to make those final 10 positions. Utilising a Pro-Class Mondello Park layout, this will be the biggest challenge our IDC hopefuls have ever faced. Who will survive Judgement Day?
